RUNNING FOR THEM
SEP 19th 25 - OCT 14th 25
Running along the stunning Israel National Trail in honour of and to raise much needed funds for IDF soldiers injured in the October 7 war.
We will be running for IDF soldiers who have lost limbs and now can only but dream of walking again.
We will run for them, we just need YOUR help to make it happen.
Sponsor this truly meaningful cause and be part of a beautiful and memorable event.
By doing so, we guarantee to promote your company - with your chosen art work, and carry it along the 1100k route of the Israel national Trail. And at the many rest stations along the way. Your name and company logo will be widely exposed - not just in the publicity leading up to the
event but during the coverage, over the 24 day event.
This event will be covered by International Press and Israeli television and press.
The Route
The Israel National Trail is a hiking route approximately 1,100 km long, that covers the entire length of Israel, from north to south, and it’s immense beauty.
It begins at Mount Hermon and ends in Eilat in the south.
The trail passes through diverse landscapes: mountains, cities, deserts, beaches, forests, and historical sites.
Which will be covered over 24 days.
Help us get to the finish line!
Benefits for Israel
Strengthening the physical and emotional well-being
of IDF soldiers injured in the October 7 war.
Raising global awareness of Israel’s beauty and unique landscapes.
Increasing tourism to Israel in the coming years.
Strengthening diverse communities along the Israel National Trail.
Promoting positive content about Israel in international media.
Brand Israel as a destination for tourism and sports.
Be one to make a difference!
And at such an important time in history!
We are inviting anyone who wants, to join or support us. Many have already
expressed their support, and will fly to Israel to participate.
So far, I have commitments from 137 participants from outside of Israel,
not all of whom are Jewish, from around the world to see Israel's unique
beauty, innovation, and warmth.
We are looking to find sponsors to cover the basic costs of producing an
event of this size. Some funds will be raised for Beit Halochem
(Israel's rehabilitation center for wounded veterans). Of course,
we won’t stop participants wanting to donate.
themselves and raise funds for Beit Halochem.
Our goal:
To organise a major international event that sees communities from all around the world come together to run and raise hope and awareness and help defeat antisemitism. A collaboration between Jewish, Christian,
Muslim and other communities with historical and cultural ties to Israel. Highlighting unique communities in Israel—Druze, Bedouins, and Jewish communities along the trail and having direct encounters with them along the route.
We will launch a digital and social media campaign featuring the stunning backdrop to this once in a lifetime event.
Showcasing Israel’s landscapes, culture, cuisine, and heritage and the wonderful individuals we are raising money for.
This will have partnerships with global influencers in tourism, culinary arts, and history, leveraging hashtags and trends to reach wider audiences.
And all this will carry your company logo!
Our target participants include:
Recovering soldiers from Beit HaLochem rehabilitation centers
Barmitzvah & Batmitzvah meaningful deed

Our Avid Trail Running Orgenisers and a bit of History
My name is Doron Atzmon, I am 56yrs old, married with two teenage daughters. I am a proud Israeli who has lived in the diaspora for over 30yrs as I married a British Jew but we now live in Sydney, Australia. I'm still deeply connected to Israel not to its politics, but to its people and land.
On October 7th, my best friend's son Ilay was murdered at the Nova music festival.
By October 10th, I was on my way to Israel to sit shiva with the family. When I
arrived, I had to continue training for the "Marathon De Sables" in Morocco -
a 252 km, 7-day marathon in the Sahara Desert, where runners must carry
their own food and equipment (12 kg).
While in Israel, I contacted a family member Rani who was also an avid runner
and asked if he'd like to join me for a training session. He said he couldn’t
as he was currently serving in reserves in Gaza.
A month later, Rani was killed in Gaza.
That's when I decided to dedicate my ultra marathon Morocco to
all Israeli victims of this war. I managed to raise $65k for PTSD for hostage families.
During the marathon, I met two other Israelis - David Cohen who lives in South Africa
and Yossi Yahalom from Israel, I shared my idea of running the Israel National Trail
in honour of our wounded soldiers, those who can only dream of returning to their
normal lives. Both of them joined the project without hesitation
